How we got here
We met in 2019 in the queue for the last train out of Paddington, both on our way to the same friend's birthday in St Austell. The train was cancelled. We shared a taxi for three hours and argued about jollof the whole way.
Five years later Kwame proposed on the harbour wall in Fowey, with a ring he'd hidden in a pasty bag. Ana said yes before he finished the question, then ate the pasty.
So it had to be Fowey.
The day
Times are roughly right. It's a wedding.
1:00
Shuttle boats start
From Caffa Mill slipway, every 20 minutes. Four minutes across the river.
2:00
Ceremony on the slipway
Twenty minutes, two readings, and Kwame's uncle Kofi will definitely cry.
2:45
Drinks and photos
Cornish fizz, palm wine for the brave, and pasties for anyone who skipped lunch.
5:00
Dinner in the boathouse
Long tables, three courses, and speeches kept to five minutes each. We've asked nicely.
8:00
Dancing
A highlife band until 10, then a DJ until the harbour master sends us home.
11:30
Last boat
Last shuttle back across at 11:30. Taxis booked to Par station and the hotels.

Getting there
By train: Paddington to Par is about four and a half hours. We'll have minibuses meeting the 11:04 and 12:10 arrivals on the Saturday.
By car: A30 then A390 through St Austell. Park at Caffa Mill, then the shuttle boat. Fowey's streets are not built for cars and you will regret trying.
By plane: Newquay airport is 45 minutes away. Flights from Manchester, Edinburgh and London.

Questions
If your invitation says your name and a guest, yes. We've kept it small because the boathouse only seats 90, so please don't be offended if it doesn't.
Gifts
Honestly, you coming all the way to Cornwall is the gift. If you'd like to give something, we're saving for a trip to Accra so Ana can finally meet Kwame's grandmother.
Thank you. We can't wait to see you.
